The Lustron house, a modest mid-century modern residence, is well represented in Connecticut.  The Connecticut Locations link has a list of the 50 locations where a team of three Lustron fans have confirmed Lustron houses were built in this state.

With no company or dealer records, it was a challenge to find these Connecticut Lustrons.  The team used several tools to track down both Lustrons still standing and those that have been razed--click Finding Lustron Locations to learn more.

While the Lustron houses are only 75 years old, they  were a new and distinctive style of residential housing, were built using non-traditional materials, and were mass produced in a factory rather than built entirely on site.
